Job Title: Quality Assurance Developer Reports To: Director of Medical Education Job Purpose To provide quality assurance for CECity projects and assist in project development and coordination.
Minimum Requirements
EDUCATIONAL/KNOWLEDGE REQUIREMENTS:
- Demonstrated experience in quality assurance role strongly preferred
- Excellent knowledge of English language, grammar and punctuation required.
- Experience in content-based quality assurance and/or technical writing required.
- Must be competent using Windows operating system (general applications, Microsoft Office, and basic imaging software).
- Experience with Internet-based content development and /or review required.
- Ability to manage multiple projects independently.
- Working knowledge of HTML editors (i.e., Dreamweaver) preferred.
- Knowledge of medical terminology preferred.
- Physical requirements. Must be able to communicate via telephone (hear and speak clearly) and perform QA on multimedia programs (see and hear).
Key Responsibilities
- Complete quality assurance review of text-based activities and products (i.e., marketing materials, newsletters, etc.).
- Complete quality assurance review of multimedia programs and other CECity applications
- Assists with testing of new CECity products/product functionality.
- Communicate professionally with internal & external clients about projects in production/quality assurance review.
- Provide the production staff with clear, constructive feedback regarding changes that need to be made prior to client review or on client request.
- Complete ongoing quality checks of client portals/branded websites.
- Provide basic technical support via telephone and email to users of CECity hosted programs and continuing education portals.
- Sets up routine programs and reports in the maintenance system and or CME360º
- Locates materials for and updates assigned specialty pages as necessary.
- Fills in for project manager on short-term basis and assists with setup of project files and related documents as needed.
- Completes all other assigned responsibilities as requested.
